Frankston City Council is seeking a Finance Business Partner within the Financial Services & Insights Department to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the organisation's financial performance. Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related discipline or several years relevant experience in an accounting position.
• Demonstrated experience with budgetary and costing procedures in a similar sized organisation.
• Some experience in management reporting and ability to analyse financial accounts and information.
• Proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to identify priorities and self-manage workloads.
• Eligibility for membership of CPA Australia or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Providing professional and technical advice to Department Managers and Coordinators on day to day financial management and reporting.
• Assisting with the preparation of Council’s statutory reporting requirements, with a particular emphasis on budgeting and forecasting.
• Developing strong and positive relationships with both internal and external customers while contributing to the development of high quality customer service across the organisation.
