Temp and Agnew in Sydney (North Ryde) seeks a Finance Business Partner to support multiple divisions with planning, reporting and accounting. You will oversee month-end, journal entries, balance sheet integrity and intercompany reporting while leading a team of five. Strong SAP and Tableau skills are valued.

The role offers a $170,000 package with hybrid work (2 days in the office) and onsite parking. CPA/CA qualifications and 3+ years in a finance partnering role are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial business partner role.
• Experience preparing financial reporting packs and working within structured reporting deadlines.
• Experience using SAP is essential.
• Tableau experience will be highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Oversee fixed asset accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and review month-end accounting activities, reporting and financial deliverables across multiple business divisions.
• Review, prepare and post journal entries, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
• Manage and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor and review intercompany settlements to maintain accurate financial reporting.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of five direct reports, supporting performance, capability and continuous improvement.
• Assist senior finance leadership with key projects, business initiatives and process improvements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with divisional stakeholders, providing effective financial business partnering across the organisation.

Job Description

Role Highlights

As a Finance Business Partner, you will support multiple business divisions with financial planning, reporting and accounting requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing month-end processes, reviewing financial reports and journal entries, maintaining balance sheet integrity, and ensuring accurate intercompany and tax-related reporting. About You

We are looking for a qualified Financial Business Partner who is confident managing financial accounting processes, meeting month-end deadlines and working collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple business divisions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial business partner role.
• Experience preparing financial reporting packs and working within structured reporting deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate variances, identify issues and resolve outstanding reconciliation items.
• Experience using SAP is essential.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement, with an interest in improving reporting accuracy, efficiency, and financial controls.
• Tableau and CI experience will be highly regarded.
