Job summary

Moir Group is seeking a trusted finance leader to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function within a family‑owned, project-based manufacturing business. Working closely with the owners and a fractional CFO, you will shape the finance capability and contribute to strategic initiatives that support the company’s ongoing growth.

• Strong experience in financial reporting, management accounting, month-end processes, and financial controls.
• Experience with product, project, or job costing, including work-in-progress (WIP) and margin analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to improve finance systems, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies.
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment while partnering with senior leadership.
• Experience within manufacturing, construction, engineering, building products, or another project-based industry will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to QBCC regulations and family-owned businesses will be advantageous.

Profile

• Degree qualified and CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion).
