Job summary

Kilcoy Global Foods is seeking a seasoned Commercial Finance/Business Partner to drive end-to-end financial management for manufacturing operations and supply chain costs at our Sunshine Coast, Queensland site.

The role requires CA/CPA qualification and 5+ years in commercial finance. You will partner with operations leaders to shape strategic decisions, provide accurate forecasts, and deliver insightful financial analysis to support profitable growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end-to-end financial management for manufacturing operations and supply chain costs.
• Ensure accurate month-end close and timely reporting to site leadership.
• Partner with Plant Operations Manager and other functions to drive labour and operational efficiencies.
• Provide financial forecasts and annual budget inputs with executives in mind.
• Support profitability analysis and cost control initiatives across the factory.

Job description

Kilcoy Global Foods is a multi-award-winning global foods solutions business, renowned for exceptional quality and innovation. Specialising in premium Australian beef, lamb and high-quality protein products, Kilcoy Global Foods products are enjoyed in more than 50 countries.

Lead and deliver towards the end-to-end finances to ensure accurate and timely accounting of manufacturing operations and supply chain costs, inventory valuation and product costings and planning. The role is critical in closing end of months accounts and preparation and delivery of results to the site team, including upholding controls in a factory setting.

YOUR RESPONSILBITIES

You will:

• Lead and contribute to the delivery of business and financial objectives through proactive involvement in day-to-day operations
• Effectively partner to shape operational business decisions and strategy development
• Partner with the Plant Operations Manager and other functions (e.g. Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse) to drive labour and operational efficiencies through the factories via performance analysis and cost controls.
• Provide Materials and Operational cost forecasts into the monthly forecast and annual Budget processes including presentations for Executives and summary files for the Plant Manager Drive profitable growth through clear analysis and insight generation which is shared with the business
• Partner in the delivery of month end with a focus on operational performance
