Job summary

ATCO Gas Australia is seeking a sharp Finance Business Partner to join our high‑performing team in Western Australia. You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, connecting finance with the business to deliver insights and financial stewardship that drive long‑term success.

You will lead budgeting and forecasting for your portfolio, deliver deep commercial insights, support strategic decisions, and champion improvements across financial processes and governance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with CPA/CA accreditation.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in FP&A, management accounting, or a similar commercial finance role within a dynamic, for‑profit environment.
• Strong analytical and commercial capability, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and the ability to identify risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers.
• High technical proficiency across Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, EPM, or SAP.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and uplift financial literacy across the business.
• Experience within the energy sector, including an understanding of regulatory frameworks and commercial dynamics.
• Strong understanding of capital project accounting, WIP, and fixed‑asset processes
