Job summary

Sustainability in Melbourne is seeking a Mid–Level Business Analyst to join a financial services organisation and support a growing pipeline of business and technology change. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams and technology functions to define requirements and drive process improvements through the full delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within financial services.
• Strong requirements gathering and process mapping experience.
• Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria and detailed business documentation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience supporting projects through testing, UAT and implementation.
• Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work across multiple projects and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and supporting documentation
• Facilitate requirements workshops with business and technology stakeholders
• Support regulatory, compliance, onboarding and transformation initiatives
• Analyse current-state processes and help define future-state solutions
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
• Work closely with project teams through design, testing, UAT and implementation
• Manage requirements and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle
