Job summary

Noddle Finance in Australia is seeking an experienced Finance Broker to join our growing team. You will work with customers seeking personal and car finance, assess applications, and guide them from enquiry to settlement with a focus on finding the best options from our lender panel.

With leads provided and a supportive tech-enabled process, you’ll structure great deals, explain rates and costs clearly, maintain compliant records, and build lasting client and lender relationships as Noddle

Qualifications

• Experience in finance broking and consumer lending.
• Strong understanding of consumer credit and responsible lending obligations.
• Experience working with multiple lenders and understanding different lending policies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain finance in plain English.

Finance Broker - Personal & Car Loans

Noddle is a new Australian finance brokerage specialising in personal loans and car loans, backed by the Jacaranda Finance Group.

We're a broker, not a lender. That means our job isn't to sell customers whatever happens to be on our shelf, it's to understand their situation, compare options across our lender panel and help them find finance that genuinely fits.

We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Finance Broker to join our small team. This is a unique opportunity to get in at the early stages of a new brand, help shape how we do things and build something alongside an experienced team.

Before you apply

We're a predominantly in-office business because we believe collaboration, coaching and problem-solving happen best when we work side by side. During probation, you'll work from our Milton office five days per week. Following successful completion of probation, you'll have the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

The role

As a Finance Broker, you'll work directly with customers looking for personal and car finance. You'll take the time to understand each customer's circumstances, review their financial position and credit profile, identify suitable options from our lender panel and guide them through the process from initial enquiry through to settlement.

With a strong flow of leads provided, no cold calling required and access to Australia's leading lenders, you'll have the tools, opportunities and support to focus on what you do best: structuring great deals, helping customers and settling loans. You'll be supported by technology designed to make the process faster and simpler, but at Noddle, we believe technology should enable great people, not replace them.

About you

We're looking for someone who knows finance but, just as importantly, knows how to deal with people.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience in finance broking, consumer lending, personal loans, car finance or a similar lending environment
• Strong understanding of consumer credit and responsible lending obligations
• Experience working with multiple lenders and understanding different lending policies
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain finance in plain English
• Strong attention to detail and confidence managing applications from start to finish
• A customer-first mindset - you want to find the right outcome, not simply make a sale
• The ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
• A proactive attitude and genuine excitement about joining a new business at the beginning of its journey

Relevant broking qualifications and industry membership will be highly regarded.

Noddle is an independent Australian finance broker specialising in personal loans up to $80,000 and car loans up to $200,000.

We start the comparison process using an Access Seeker enquiry, which does not impact the customer's credit score. Our brokers then review the customer's circumstances and match them with lenders on our panel most likely to suit their needs. Customers can see the rate, fees and total cost before deciding whether they want to proceed with a formal application.
