Job summary

DEECA is seeking a Finance Analyst, Trust Funds and Frameworks Management, to support the establishment and maintenance of budget frameworks, policy, controls and standards to drive fiscal performance and report on fiscal risks. You will work within a flexible hybrid arrangement across Victoria.

The role requires a degree in accounting, finance or commerce (desirable), strong analytical and written communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance or commerce is desirable.
• Knowledge of government budgeting and the Financial Management Act is preferred.
• Experience in financial reporting and administration utilizing financial systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Support establishment and maintenance of budget frameworks, policy, controls and standards.
• Report on fiscal performance and risks with a focus on trust funds management.
• Provide training and guidance for budget framework management to DEECA staff.
