Job summary

Kilcoy Global Foods is seeking a Finance Analyst – Operations based at Bells Creek, QLD. You will partner with Operations and the broader Finance teams to drive performance and cost optimisation through timely reporting and analytics.

The role focuses on cost of conversion, product costing, budgeting, month-end close and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver actionable financial insights for better decision making.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate operational and financial reports.
• Analyse production, labour, yield, waste and overhead variances.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions with Operations.
• Provide Cost of Conversion analysis and product costing.
• Support NPD and product performance decisions.
• Lead monthly cost centre reviews and explain key cost drivers.
• Support budgeting, month-end close, planning and forecasting.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated employee who is interested in an opportunity within the Finance Team as the Finance Analyst | Operations based at Kilcoy Cuisine Solutions, Bells Creek. You will partner with Operations and the broader Finance teams to drive performance and optimise costs. This is achieved via the provision of meaningful and timely reporting and analytics, cost and process management and supporting continuous improvement programmes.

YOUR RESPONSILBITIES

• Deliver timely and accurate operational and financial reports.
• Analyse production, labour, yield, waste and overhead variances.
• Identify root causes and work with Operations on corrective actions.
• Provide Cost of Conversion analysis and product costing.
• Support NPD and product performance decisions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Lead monthly cost centre reviews and explain key cost drivers.
• Support budget delivery, month-end close, planning and forecasting.
• Maintain strong plant accounting and financial controls.
• Support inventory, stocktakes, CapEx, POs and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and accurate master data.
