Job summary

Mercy Health in North Richmond (Head Office) is seeking a Finance Analyst to provide hands-on financial support across journals, month-end, budgeting, forecasting and analysis within the Health Services finance team.

You will be a dedicated support resource for the Finance Business Partnering team, working closely with two Senior Finance Business Partners and one Finance Business Partner across their program areas.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in accounting or finance.
• CA/CPA designation desirable.
• Experience in financial analysis or transactional finance.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with multiple finance systems.
• Detail-oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post general ledger journals and support month end close.
• Assist with annual budgets and regular forecasts.
• Prepare financial analysis, reports and business case support.
• Provide flexible reporting across program areas and to the wider finance team as required.
• Support the annual acquittal process for Health Services and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
