Job summary

CoreStaff is seeking an experienced Final Trim Excavator Operator for a Civil road project in a remote rural NT location. The role offers 12-hour shifts on a 3–4 month project with a FIFO roster from Alice Springs and a flat rate of $54 per hour.

Flights, accommodation and meals are provided, with weekly pay and strong extension potential. Successful applicants will operate 14T–50T excavators, follow GPS designs, and demonstrate competence with RLs, benchmarks, offsets, grades and tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience operating 14T–50T excavators in a civil setting.
• Ability to follow designs using GPS systems or profiling methods.
• Strong understanding of RLs, benchmarks, offsets, grades, batters and tolerances.
• Ability to achieve accurate final trim to specified levels and grades.
• RII Excavator ticket (essential).
• Construction White Card.
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing.
• Availability to commit to the full project duration.

About the Role

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience operating 14T–50T excavators in a civil setting
• Ability to follow basic designs using GPS systems (Trimble, Topcon or similar) or profiling methods
• Strong understanding of RLs, benchmarks, offsets, grades, batters andtolerances.
• Ability to achieveaccurate final trimto specified levelsand grades
• RII Excavator ticket (essential)
• Construction White Card
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing
• Availability to commit to the full project duration
