Job summary

Ag Earth Civil in Mullumbimby, NSW, is seeking an experienced final trim operator to manage 13t-25t excavators across civil, road, stormwater, and rural projects. You’ll work solo or step into a lead role coordinating others, with autonomy and a focus on precise finish grades within tight tolerances.

You’ll perform pre-start checks, interpret site plans, read grade stakes, operate GPS excavation and maintain safety.

About This Role:

• Room to lead. Step into a lead operator / supervisor role over other operators and labourers when projects need it, with pay and recognition to match.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating 13t-25t excavators across civil, road, stormwater, and rural property work to achieve final trim/finish grade to plan within tight tolerances.

• Reading and interpreting site plans, grade stakes and setting out the site.

• GPS excavation work

• Working independently and to spec without hand holding.

• Stepping into a lead operator / supervisory role as required - coordinating other operators, checking the quality of the work and keeping the project crew on track.

• Conducting pre-start checks and daily maintenance of the machine.

• Keeping the work site safe and compliant.
