Job summary

Ag Earth Civil in Mullumbimby, NSW, is seeking an experienced final trim operator to manage 13t-25t excavators across civil, road, stormwater, and rural projects. You’ll work solo or step into a lead role coordinating others, with autonomy and a focus on precise finish grades within tight tolerances.

You’ll perform pre-start checks, interpret site plans, read grade stakes, operate GPS excavation and maintain safety.

Qualifications

• Experience operating 13t-25t excavators to final trim/finish grading.
• Ability to follow plans and hold tight tolerances without supervision.
• Capable of stepping into a lead/supervisory role when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate 13t-25t excavators for final trim across civil, road, stormwater, and rural property work.
• Read site plans and grade stakes; set out the site.
• Use GPS excavation tools.
• Work independently to spec without hand-holding.
• Lead other operators when needed and keep project crews on track.
