Job summary

Monadelphous is hiring for a casual FIFO role to support ongoing shutdowns and maintenance across major mining operations in Australia. The position offers relocation flexibility from any Australian capital city, with potential progression into ongoing rostered work.

The role involves lifting, rigging, installation works and adherence to site safety protocols across multiple sites and clients. A strong safety focus and readiness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• High Risk Work Licence RI/RA required.
• Working at Heights cert within 3 years.
• Confined Space cert within 3 years.
• Gas Test Atmospheres cert within 5 years.
• Basic Fire certification within 4 years.
• White Card; driver’s licence and right to work; site inductions highly.

Responsibilities

• Support rolling shutdowns across FMG, Rio Tinto and BHP operations.
• Perform shutdown maintenance and rigging across crushers, conveyors, screens and fixed plant equipment.
• Execute lifts, equipment change-outs and installation works in accordance with lift plans.
• Rig, sling and move mechanical components, structural steel and plant equipment safely.
• Participate in pre-starts, risk assessments and adhere to all site safety requirements.
