Job summary

Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT is seeking a FIFO Plumber/Gas Fitter to live onsite and work 10-hour shifts on a 3:1 roster. You will perform installation, maintenance and repair tasks across diverse machinery as part of the Technical Services team.

This permanent role offers direct flights from Yulara to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, free accommodation with meals, an onsite gym and a contractor card for the Outback Hotel on days off. A National Criminal History Check is required.

Qualifications

• Australian qualified plumber/gas fitter with commercial/industrial experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Willingness to work FIFO roster and be onsite at Ayers Rock Resort.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, maintenance and repair work as directed by Technical Services.
• Participate in after-hours emergency call-out roster.
• Assist team during peak workloads and planned maintenance periods.

An Epic Icon needs an Epic team! Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a FIFO Plumber/Gas Fitter to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We're seeking an Australian Qualified Plumber / Gas Fitter who has strong fault-finding experience in both Commercial and Industrial work environments. This role provides you with an opportunity to work on diverse machinery as our Technical Services team are the trades people of Yulara. You will have the opportunity to become a true specialist in the field as the closest contracting partner is 5 hours away! We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visit town, this also needs to be a strong focus of you too! As our town is spread across a large range of land, an Australian Open Driver's License is required for all our trades roles.

Key Duties

• Carry out all installation, maintenance and repair work requested by the Technical Services Assistant Manager and Maintenance Planner.
• Participate in the Technical Services after hours emergency call out roster.
• Assist team mates during high workload periods, annual leave and other key maintenance periods.
