Job summary

ISS is seeking experienced Chefs to join our FIFO roster from Adelaide Airport to remote SA villages. You will lead breakfast, take-away lunches and dinner service, delivering safe, delicious meals that meet safety and contract standards.

This role offers full-time and casual opportunities with meals and on-site accommodation, uniform provided and ongoing training. You will work under the Head Chef and catering leads, contributing to a strong safety culture within a global operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery or Australian Trade Certification (essential) or international qualifications.
• High volume catering experience including bulk, function/banquet or high-volume venues.
• Food Safety Certificate and HACCP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead breakfast, takeaway lunches and dinner service to residents.
• Deliver safe, delicious meals that meet safety and contract standards.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and site Catering Leads on daily service.
• Maintain strong safety culture and exceed client expectations.
• Be flexible to work a FIFO roster from Adelaide Airport.

You Will Be Responsible For:

Reporting to the Head Chef and site Catering Leads, this is your chance to break away from the same old kitchen routine. Join ISS and bring fresh, on-trend meals to life for hundreds of residents in our remote villages.

As a Chef, you'll lead breakfast, takeaway lunches and dinner service, delivering safe, delicious and innovative food that exceeds expectations and meets all safety and contract standards.

• Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery or Australian Trade Certification (essential) or a comprehensive international portfolio of experience with international qualifications.
• High volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience &/or a la carte experience in high volume venues/restaurants/hotels.
• Food Safety Certificate
• Solid understanding of HACCP standards.
• Ability to exceed client expectations in food quality and food safety adherence.
• Able to work a flexible FIFO roster from Adelaide Airport.
• Police Clearance within 12 months or willing to obtain one.
• Be medically fit to pass Pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
