Job summary

Whittens, a family-owned civil construction contractor, is seeking a 2/1 FIFO Contracts Administrator to support a FRP infrastructure project in NSW. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will handle head contract management, BOQs, month ends, variations, reporting and claims for remote sites.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying (or related field) with proven contract administration experience in civil contracting, a strong cost-control mindset, and meticulous attention to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying (preferred) or Commerce, Law, Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar position with a self-perform Civil Contractor – Highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and administer contracts and subcontracts and experience with both downstream and upstream.
• Solid understanding of cost control and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage head contract administration, bill of quantities, month ends, variations, reporting and claims management for remote civil infrastructure projects.
• Support Project Manager and Commercial team in all contractual aspects and reporting.
