Job summary

Acknowledge Education is seeking a Fieldwork Placement Supervisor – Community Services to support Brisbane students through their fieldwork placements, working with host organisations and academic teams to develop practical skills.

You will monitor progress, facilitate liaison meetings and provide guidance to help students meet learning requirements, while maintaining records and ensuring accreditation standards are met.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Community Services or related discipline.
• Minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in community services.
• Strong written and verbal communication and reporting skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct placement liaison meetings with students/host organisations to monitor progress.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organisations, agency supervisors and internal stakeholders.
• Guide students through placement learning goals, assessment requirements and workplace challenges.
• Review and grade placement assessments, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Identify and escalate placement concerns to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate placement records and support compliance with course accreditation requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of placement processes and student experience.
