Job summary

Acknowledge Education in Brisbane is seeking a Fieldwork Placement Supervisor – Community Services to mentor students, supervise placements and liaise with host organisations. You will work closely with academic teams to ensure students complete practical requirements and develop professional skills.

The role offers a full-time position based at our Brisbane campuses, with a focus on student success, placement coordination and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Social Welfare, Human Services or related discipline.
• Minimum of three years’ post-qualification industry experience in the community services sector.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with students, educators and industry partners.
• Excellent written communication, reporting and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively and provide guidance and support to students.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct placement liaison meetings with students and host organisations to monitor progress and provide support.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community organisations, agency supervisors and internal stakeholders.
• Guide students through placement learning goals, assessment requirements and workplace challenges.
• Review and grade placement assessments, providing constructive feedback to support student development.
• Identify and escalete placement concerns, working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate placement records and support compliance with relevant course accreditation requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of placement processes and the overall student experience.
