Job summary

ALS Environmental in Chinchilla is seeking a full-time Field Technician to join our local team supporting CSG clients. You will perform field sampling, operate monitoring equipment, and maintain data records while following safety procedures and client reporting protocols.

The role provides extensive on-the-job training, including safety inductions, defensive 4WD driving, and first aid, with opportunities to develop technical skills across sampling methods and field logistics.

Qualifications

• Current manual driver’s license.
• CSG industry experience desired but not essential.
• Industry Safety Induction desired but not essential.
• First aid and defensive 4WD driving training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Drive to field sites and operate field monitoring equipment.
• Input data into data platforms and maintain records.
• Maintain and troubleshoot field sampling gear and software.
• Build and maintain relationships with Land Access supervisors and client teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve client services based on observations.
