Job summary

DNA Recruitment is partnering with a global leader to recruit a hands-on Service Technician for its growing Perth team. You will install, service and maintain automatic access systems across commercial and government sites.

Your duties include fault-finding, preventive maintenance and after-hours on-call support, with occasional travel to regional WA. A strong mechanical background and a valid Australian licence are required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability.
• Confidence using hand tools and power tools.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
• Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented approach.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Australian working rights.
• White Card preferred but can be obtained; police and working-with-children checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning automatic doors, gates and roller shutters.
• Completing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Attending breakdowns and reactive service calls.
• Repairing or replacing motors, sensors, controls and mechanical components.
• Completing service reports and communicating professionally with customers.
• Participating in a paid after-hours roster once fully trained.
• Occasionally travelling to regional WA when required.
