Job summary

Flo-Max is seeking an Assistant System Maintainer for Mackay QLD to join our field operations team. You will perform operations, routine and breakdown maintenance on a major mines raw water system in the Bowen Basin, ensuring reliability and safety on site.

The role requires a self-motivated, multi-skilled person able to work in a two-man crew, complete repairs on pumps, pipelines, valves and related infrastructure, and hold a manual driver's licence for a vehicle.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in pipeline maintenance or a similar field.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a 2-person team.
• Open drivers licence for a manual vehicle.
• Experience with pumps, pipelines, valves and raw water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out operations and maintenance on a major mines raw water system.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs as required.
• Collaborate with team to ensure reliability and safety on site.

ABOUT THE APPLICANT

Ability to identify and execute required repairs on machinery, pumps, pipelines, valves and raw water infrastructure

Open drivers licence for a manual vehicle

5 Years Experience with pipeline maintenance or a similar field of work

Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical

Glencore Generic Induction

Confined Space, Working at Heights & Dogging tickets

Experience working in the coal industry
