Job summary

Linfox Armaguard Pty Ltd invites applications for a Field Technician role based in Australia. You will undergo an 8-week training course before heading out to service cash management devices, perform maintenance at various sites, and fix faults with support from a technical team.

The role provides full training, tools of trade including a mobile phone, a tool kit, and a company vehicle, with emphasis on safety, accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• The desire to repair equipment with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Electro‑mechanical experience is advantageous.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnosis and repairs on cash management systems.
• Attending sites to maintain and repair devices.
• Commissioning, configuring and testing devices.
• Troubleshooting technical issues with specialist support.

What does the job look like?

Reporting to the Field Manager we will take you through an 8-week course to give you all the required skills prior to sending you out to perform maintenance on various ATM and cash payment technologies. As an enthusiastic person with a passion for all things technical, we will provide you will all tools of trade required, including a mobile phone, full tool kit and vehicle. Key areas:

• Fault finding, diagnosis and repairs on a range of cash management systems
• Attending various sites to maintain and repair devices
• Commissioning, configuring and testing devices
• Troubleshooting technical issues (backed by a specialist technical support team)
