Job summary

Zelora is seeking a Field Supervisor / Subject Matter Expert to lead safe, compliant residential solar, battery storage and EV charging installations. Report to the Head of Operations, you will guide internal teams and subcontractors, perform site assessments and resolve complex technical issues, shaping our growing project portfolio.

You will collaborate with engineering, sales, customer service and operations to ensure outstanding customer outcomes and continuous improvement across field

Qualifications

• Current electrical licence and SAA accreditation for Grid-Connected PV and Battery Storage.
• Proven experience in electrical and renewable energy installations.
• Experience leading installation teams and subcontractors across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day supervision of installation teams and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections, assessments and audits to ensure safe, compliant installations.
• Review designs and equipment selections, addressing risks before work begins.
• Support commissioning, network connections and technical requirements for solar, battery and EV projects.
• Lead fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and warranty investigations.
• Drive safety, quality and compliance across all field activities.
• Develop installation procedures and training to build capability across teams.
• Act as the technical expert for new products and installation best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve installation methods and customer outcomes.
