Job summary

Nestlé Nespresso SA is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Brisbane, QLD, delivering premium service across ANZ. You will diagnose, repair and maintain coffee machines, while building strong relationships with customers and key accounts.

Travel to metro, regional and remote locations will be required as part of field coverage. You will work under a Technical Manager and contribute to safe, high-quality resolutions with clear communication and proactive service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on field service experience with coffee machines or commercial equipment.
• Strong customer-facing communication and professional conduct.
• Electrical or mechanical trade qualification and valid licence

Responsibilities

• Deliver troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance and testing services.
• Build trusted relationships with key accounts and stakeholders through clear communication.
• Own service recovery and escalations, providing timely updates to resolve issues.
• Apply fault-finding and testing methods to improve first-time fixes and reliability.
• Share insights to improve field team performance and technical skills.

We’re seeking a Field Service Technician who is as passionate about customer care as they are about fixing machines. In this role, you’ll build trusted relationships, solve problems with care and confidence, and turn every service visit into a positive customer experience.

Based in Brisbane, QLD and reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you’ll support customers across metro, regional and remote locations in Australia and New Zealand. You’ll combine hands‑on fault finding with warm, clear communication and owning each job from diagnosis through to a safe, high-quality resolution.

As a Field Service Technician, You’ll:

• Deliver premium field service through troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, installation support and functional testing.
• Build confidence and lasting relationships with Key Accounts, HoReCa, B2B and customer‑site stakeholders through positive, professional communication.
• Take ownership of service recovery and customer‑impacting escalations, providing clear updates and coordinating the right support through to resolution.
• Use structured fault finding and evidence‑based testing to improve first‑time fix quality, reduce repeat repairs and protect customer trust.
• Share practical field insights, support state TSP performance, events, and service runs, and help colleagues and service partners grow their technical capability.

• Proven hands‑on field service experience with coffee machines, commercial equipment or a similar electrical or mechanical environment.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and confidence supporting B2B customers, service recovery and complex situations.
• A restricted electrical licence or relevant electrical or mechanical trade qualification, plus a valid driver’s licence.
• A safety‑first mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Flexibility to support metro, regional and remote work, with a willingness to travel as required.
