Job summary

MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co. is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, fault-find and repair mining equipment in the workshop and at customer sites. You will work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems across various underground and surface mining equipment.

This permanent full-time role offers a flexible roster, ongoing training and development, and travel to client sites with accommodation and meal allowances when travelling for work.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Mobile Plant Technician or similar.
• Experience working on mining, heavy mobile or industrial equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills; ability to read hydraulic, electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, fault-find and repair equipment in workshop and at customer sites.
• Work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems across mining equipment.
• Read and interpret hydraulic, electrical and mechanical drawings; travel to sites as required.
