Job summary

SITECH Construction Systems in Cairns seeks a field-leaning technical specialist to install and commission Trimble machine control systems across 2D/3D platforms. The role blends field work with high-level product support and customer training, requiring a trade qualification and readiness for extensive travel to remote sites.

The successful candidate will perform installations, ensure QA, coordinate with third-party welders, and provide on-site and remote assistance, while documenting activity

Qualifications

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Ability to drive long distances and work at remote customer sites.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform complete installations of Trimble 2D/3D machine control systems and associated technologies.
Oversee installation process including QA, welding, calibration, and commissioning.
Provide first-line and advanced product support for Trimble systems remotely and on-site.
Document support cases and site work in CRM and support platforms.
Attend trade shows and field days when required.
