Job summary

Bosch Rexroth is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician for its Hagglunds division at the Mackay, QLD branch. You will support heavy industry clients with field-based service, fault diagnosis, installation, and maintenance of hydraulic drive systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and precision in complex hydraulic circuits and rotating equipment.

Top candidates will have a hydraulic fitter qualification, strong field experience, and a proactive, customer-focused approach to minimise downtime

Qualifications

Experience in field service and maintenance of hydraulic systems in heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, components and diagnostics under load.
Commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer service requests and on-site breakdowns; perform inspections, fault finding, repairs and testing.
Install, commission and modernise large-scale hydraulic drive systems and components.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic issues including pressure, flow and contamination.
Prepare service reports detailing findings, actions and recommendations.
Advise customers on repairs, spare parts and upgrade opportunities; provide quotations.
Manage service documents and maintain traceability and quality control.
