Job summary

Bullivants is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, maintain and service lifting and height safety products on customer sites across the region from Bullivants Gladstone. You will engage with clients to ensure safety and reliability while performing tests, maintenance, and installations.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, strong problem solving, and the ability to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical service experience within a manufacturing background preferred.
• Strong customer focus and ability to develop client relationships.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.

Job description

As a Field Service Technician (FST), you will actively engage with customers onsite, providing support through the ongoing inspection, maintenance, and servicing of Bullivants’ products. Our FSTs are hands-on and ensure product are functioning optimally and meeting the highest standards of safety and reliability.

About The Role

• Support with on and off-site inspections of lifting equipment (including test and tag)
• Inspect and install height safety systems to the relevant standards
• Conduct regular maintenance and service repairs on product and equipment
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide relevant advice on quality products
• 100% commitment to personal and business safety
• Ability to liaise with and work on customer sites

About You

• A demonstrated technical service experience within a manufacturing background preferred
• Customer focus and the ability to develop strong client relationships
• Ability to work within a physically demanding role
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to work autonomously with a strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills
• Relevant tickets/licenses including Dogging AND Working at heights highly desirable

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and will be based at Bullivants Gladstone. Given the nature of the role, there will be the requirement for some travel to customer sites across the region.
