Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root is seeking a hands-on Service Technician based in Newcastle to pro-actively service and repair hydraulic and electronic components in retail fueling environments. You will work across customer sites, ensure first-time fixes, and maintain essential field documentation.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in service roles, a valid driver’s license, and a strong mechanical mindset with fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

• Proactive, process and detail oriented with strong problem solving.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
• Experience in a service industry and field-based roles.

Responsibilities

• Field Operations: complete product breakdowns and repairs at customer sites.
• Calibrate pumps and test to ensure compliance.
• Document all service work and safety paperwork.
• Maintain safety and professionalism when representing Gilbarco Veeder-Root.
• Operate with integrity and clear communication with customers and site staff.
