Job summary

Kalmar in Regency Park, Adelaide, seeks a Field Service Technician to perform corrective, preventative and general maintenance on Diesel Powered and EV Mobile Equipment across multiple sites and in workshops. You will work independently, build strong customer relationships, and ensure high-quality workmanship within target repair times.

You will bring Australian trade qualification and post-apprenticeship experience in fault finding, repairs and PM servicing on heavy mobile plant, with knowledge

Qualifications

• Australian Mechanical trade qualification (Cert III or equivalent).
• Post-apprenticeship experience in fault finding, repairs and PM servicing on heavy mobile plant.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, drivetrains, diesel engines and EV charging.
• Valid driver's license; High Risk Work, Forklift and EWP preferred.
• Proactive and customer-focused with strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs: fault finding, repair work, PM servicing and emergency repairs on Diesel Powered and EV Mobile Equipment.
• Warranty & Job Preparation: review service history, parts and customer details; complete repairs per factory requirements.
• Customer Engagement & Cleanliness: build customer relationships, review work with clients, identify service opportunities, maintain 5S workplace.
• Shift & On-Call: be available for normal and after-hours work, participate in On-Call roster.
• Safety & Reporting: follow HSE rules, complete Take 5s, vehicle inspections, log time and submit daily reports.
