Job summary

Kalmar is seeking a Field Service Technician to service Diesel Powered and EV mobile equipment across sites in Australia. You will perform mechanical and electrical fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance, while ensuring quality workmanship and timely service completion.

You will organize parts, review service history, and maintain strong customer relationships, with on-call duties and after-hours support as required.

Qualifications

• Australian mechanical trade qualification (e.g., Cert III) in HV/mobile plant.
• Post-apprenticeship experience in fault finding, repairs and PM servicing on heavy mobile plant.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, drivetrains, diesel engines and EV systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical fault finding, repairs on Diesel Powered and EV Mobile Equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and warranty repairs per factory requirements.
• Prepare service work by organizing parts and service history; complete warranty repairs.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify service opportunities.
• Be on-call for after-hours and weekend service operations.
• Maintain 5S and complete daily service reports.
