Field Service Technician - Boco Rock Wind Farm NSW

Are you ready to elevate your career in renewable energy? Boco Rock Wind Farm located 10km south west of Nimmitabel and 30km north of Bombala in NSW. Is looking for a Field Service Technician to join the team! With 67 GE 1.7-100 Turbines, operating since 2015 and generating up to 113MW of clean energy! Join us in driving a sustainable future for Australia.

You’ll be working at the forefront of renewable energy, maintaining and troubleshooting wind turbines at some of the most exciting and innovative sites in the country. No two days are the same, you’ll be climbing turbines, solving real-world technical challenges, and helping to keep Australia’s wind power turning.

Your role as the Field Service Technician will see you performing scheduled and unscheduled servicing of wind turbines and site infrastructure.

Undertake tasks including annual maintenance, retrofit works, major component exchange and fault finding

Perform high voltage switching operations according to site procedures as required

Embrace a 37.5-hour work week, with opportunities for overtime as approved and participate in on-call rosters for after-hours or weekend work as directed

About You

Qualified Electrician or Mechanical Fitter

Proficient in fault finding (electrical equipment)

Trained to an intermediate level in using computer systems and tools for monitoring work and managing documentation

Ability to complete physically demanding tasks at heights, comfortable with heights (you’ll be climbing turbines, so you’ve got to have a head for heights and a love for fresh air!)

A current unrestricted driver's license

Open to travel to other sites as required, from time to time
