Job summary

Expro Group is growing its Coretrax team and is seeking One Field Service Technician for a locally based role in Chinchilla, QLD. You will work on a variable shift roster and be required to service our tools on client sites.

Responsibilities include measuring, preparing and running tool strings on site; performing hydraulic calculations; keeping thorough logs and inventories; and contributing to safety programs.

Qualifications

• Oil & gas field experience required.
• Experience with downhole tools.
• Certifications: BOSIET, HUET or FOET; IWCF Level 1.
• Valid Australian driver's licence.
• Able to obtain Australian work rights.
• Based in Western Downs region with variable shift roster.

Responsibilities

• Execute servicing and running of tools on client sites.
• Measure, check and prepare tools and tool strings on site.
• Complete onsite hydraulic calculations and compare with supervisors' calculations.
• Clean, inspect and strap down tools for loadout/back-loading.
• Maintain a comprehensive job log/report.
• Maintain detailed and accurate weekly inventories.
• Participate in worksite safety programs as required.
• Complete required operational documentation.
• Assist in the workshop when not in the field.

About the role

Our Coretrax team is growing! We are seeking One ( 1) Field Service Technicians for locally based roles in Chinchilla, QLD. You will be required to on a variable shift roster which is subject to change.

Working under supervision our Field Service Technicians are responsible for executing the successful servicing and running of our tools on our clients' sites, in addition to:

Measure, check and prepare tools and tool strings on site

Complete onsite hydraulic calculations and compare with supervisors' calculations

Clean, inspect and strap down tools ready for safe Loadout / back-loading.

Maintain a comprehensive job log/report.

Maintain detailed and accurate weekly inventories.

Actively participate in worksite safety programs as required

Ensure all required operational documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner

When you are not in the field, you may be required to assist in the workshop with building, redressing service tools.

Who are you?

You will have the following experience and qualifications:

Previous Oil & Gas field experience

Knowledge and experience working with downhole tools

BOSIET, HUET or FOET

IWCF Level 1 - Well Control Awareness

Valid driver's licence

You will hold or be able to obtain Australian work rights.

Due to the location and variable shift roster, we are currently not taking applications for those not living in the Western Downs region.
