Job summary

Conquest Equipment in Melbourne is seeking a Field Service Technician with a mechanical or auto-electrical background to service and repair battery electric and internal combustion floor cleaning equipment, as well as outdoor maintenance solutions like scrubbers and sweepers.

The role involves substantial field work with a fully equipped workshop available for use, and a supportive team offering ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Auto-Electrical qualification and experience.
• Strength in trouble shooting and problem solving.
• Be a strong communicator with exceptional customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar service role is preferred but not essential.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and quote repairs.
• Complete scheduled servicing and breakdown repairs, according to company expectations.
• Achieve and deliver Company KPIs.

The Role

We are inviting applications from motivated and reliable Field Service Technicians, with a background in either Mechanical or Auto-Electrical repair, to join our current outstanding team of Technicians based here in Melbourne.

The role offers tremendous variety in servicing and repairing both battery electric and internal combustion floor cleaning equipment, as well as outdoor maintenance solutions including industrial sweepers, scrubbers, street sweepers and ride on mowers. Much of your day will be spent in the field carrying out these services and repairs, but our fully maintained workshop is available for use when the need arises.
