Qualifications

• Trade-qualified mechanic or technician; forklift experience preferred.
• 2+ years in a similar field-based role.
• Able to work independently in the field and communicate effectively.
• Safety-conscious and able to handle pressure.

Responsibilities

Are you a hands-on technician who thrives in the field? We're recruiting a Field Service Technician for a well-established business servicing both internal fleet and external client forklifts.

What You'll Be Doing

Servicing and repairing a mix of electric, diesel, gas, and lithium-ion forklifts

Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to OEM specifications

Preparing job cards and listing parts, labour, and service notes

Supporting apprentices with training and development

Attending after-hours breakdowns (on a rotating roster)

What We're Looking For

Qualified mechanic or technician (forklift experience ideal)

2 +years experience in a similar role (mechanical, field-based)

Confident working independently and in the field

Safety-conscious and a great communicator

Able to handle pressure and think on your feet

Competitive hourly rate ($45 -$50 depending on experience)

Fully equipped service vehicle

Tools, PPE, and uniforms provided

Friendly and supportive team environment

Regular hours Monday to Friday (7:45am -4:15pm) with occasional OT
