Job summary

Marble Group is seeking a trades-qualified field service technician to service forklifts and access equipment across regional sites. The role involves fault finding, maintenance and warranty work to OEM standards, with on-site client liaison.

You'll work Monday to Friday (or 9-day fortnight) with a field service vehicle, laptop, phone and major tooling provided. Travel time is paid, and there is a strong focus on work-life balance and career progression.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified fitter with heavy machinery experience.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Strong communication and safety-focused approach.
• Ability to work autonomously in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform field-based servicing, breakdowns and fault-finding on forklifts and access equipment.
• Carry out component changes, maintenance, upgrades and warranty work.
• Report work via laptop/tablet and liaise with clients on-site.
• Travel with provided company vehicle and schedule.

Job description

Permanent role with a set Monday to Friday or 9FDO plus genuine work-life balance

Field-based servicing, breakdowns and fault-finding across forklifts and access equipment (and more)

Component change-outs, planned maintenance, equipment upgrades and warranty work to OEM standards

Hydraulic and electrical fault finding, with job reporting via laptop/tablet

Work autonomously in the field, liaising directly with clients on-site

Monday to Friday hours, moving to a 9-day fortnight after for extra days off

Field service vehicle, laptop, phone and major tooling all provided

Travel time paid from the moment you leave home to the job

What You'll Need

Trade-qualified LV or HD fitter with heavy machinery experience (forklift/access experience highly advantageous)

Solid mechanical knowledge with some hydraulic and electrical systems experience

Comfortable working autonomously in the field and problem-solving on the go

Manual driver's licence with manual driving experience

Strong communication and customer service skills, safety-focused and reliable
