Housing Industry Association Limited seeks a Field Service Representative Electrical to perform high-level electrical work for installation and servicing of press, postpress, prepress and flexo equipment. You will also engage in selling service offerings and travel across Australia.

The role requires an electrical trade qualification and at least 3 years in a printing/graphic arts environment with fault-finding and preventative maintenance experience; PLC installation/troubleshooting is

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification / License required.
• Minimum 3 years' fault-finding experience in Printing/Graphic Arts or similar.
• Experience installing, programming & troubleshooting PLCs desirable.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, electrical welding & refrigeration desirable.
• Able to work unsupervised or in a team.
• Strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work and support for installations of new and remarketed press, postpress, prepress and flexo equipment.
• Provide electrical support for service contracts and ensure procedures are followed.
• Fault find and repair electrical and mechanical components.
• Identify service gaps and customer dissatisfaction; propose solutions.
• Travel on assignment throughout Australia as required.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.

**Field Service Representative Electrical**·Permanent Full Time Position·Salary is paid in accordance with the Organisations Enterprise Agreement with base salary range from $102,000 to $110,800 plus Superannuation, Overtime and Car Allowance·Opportunity to work for a global market leader·Friendly team environment – based in Sydney’s South Western Suburbs**About the Role**This position is to perform a high level of electrical work to support both internal and external customers in the installation and servicing of new and remarketed equipment within the Heidelberg Solution of products and services. The role also includes engagement in selling of our service offerings.This includes, but is not limited to:·Perform electrical work and provide electrical support for new and remarketed press, postpress, prepress and flexo equipment installations ensuring electrical service issues are accurately identified and rectified in an efficient manner, providing high quality electrical support·Perform electrical work and provide electrical support for service contracts as required, ensuring all procedures are followed·Fault finding and repairing of electric and mechanical components·Identify electrical service gaps and sources of customer dissatisfaction and work with the team to identify, recommend and support solutions to rectify the problem·Being an effective team player, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to organisational values, goals and objectives·Being willing and able to travel on assignment throughout Australia·Conducting work in compliance with health and safety regulations/legislation at all times.**Skills & Experience**·Relevant Electrical Trade Qualification / License (Electrician)·Relevant printing or business qualification desirable, but not essential·Demonstrated minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Printing / Graphic Arts or similar commercial environment in fault finding and performing preventative maintenance electrical work·Experience installing, programming & troubleshooting PLC’s is desirable·Basic understanding of hydraulics, electrical welding & refrigeration is desirable·Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised or in a team environment·Demonstrated ability to develop, build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally of the organisation**Benefits & Culture**Many of our employees are long serving, and new starters often comment on the helpfulness, approachability and friendliness of our staff.
