Job summary

Coates seeks a Field Service Manager in the NSW South Coast region to lead a team of Field Service Mechanics and contractors, ensuring equipment is maintained on customer sites and breakdowns are handled quickly and efficiently.

You will coach technicians, manage workloads and budgets, and work with stakeholders to deliver a seamless service while upholding Coates standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Leadership of a field service team in a technical environment.
• Proven experience in managing field service, maintenance or mobile service teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Field Service Mechanics to meet service standards.
• Drive KPIs: equipment uptime, response times, first-time fix rates and SLA compliance.
• Plan and manage workforce resources and budgets to meet demand and productivity.
• Oversee safe execution of field repairs and maintenance per safety and quality policies.
• Foster customer-focused service delivery and effective communication with customers.
