Rheinmetall is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to deliver high-quality maintenance and repairs across Australia, supporting the Boxer vehicle program. You will travel to workshops and field sites, performing diagnostics and servicing with minimal supervision to ensure mission readiness.

Role requires willingness to travel interstate and internationally, and eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining a fleet of trucks servicing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Automotive diagnostic skills.
• Willingness to travel interstate and internationally for extended periods.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision.
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).

Responsabilités

• Provide expert technical services in workshop and field environments across Australia.
• Travel interstate to sites including military bases, firing ranges and testing locations as required.
• Carry out high-quality maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on vehicles to support operational readiness.

About The Role

Our Field Service Mechanic works up and closely with our emerging technologies as they ensure high-quality maintenance for our vehicles that we deliver to the Commonwealth. You will travel around Australia to provide expert technical services and support in both workshop and field environments which can include; military bases, firing ranges and vehicle testing sites. This is all to ensure operational readiness, while working alongside the ADF.
