Job summary

Hastings Deering is seeking a Field Service Fitter to service and repair heavy mining equipment across Mackay mine sites. You will work from a field service vehicle, responding to breakdowns, performing proactive maintenance, and ensuring equipment reliability with a strong focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
• Experience on Large/Ultra Class Mining Equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and fault-find in field conditions.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Willingness to travel across multiple mine sites.
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment across multiple mine sites throughout the Bowen Basin.
