Job summary

Pellenc ST is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Australia, based near Sydney. You will install, commission and start-up machines, and perform maintenance with extensive travel across Australia and New Zealand.

The role reports to Customer Service Engineer and requires 2–3 years in industrial equipment commissioning and fault-finding. Industrial engineering background and strong knowledge of automation, software and networks are highly valued.

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of industrial equipment.
Electromechanical or industrial machines background.
Knowledge of industrial processes and ability to guide clients.
Experience in reporting and synthesis of technical work.
Proficiency in automation, software and networks.

Responsibilities

Conduct adjustments and tests to ensure optimal performance of industrial automation equipment according to specifications.
Coordinate, organize and participate in the machine assembly on site.
Prepare detailed reports on installation solutions to facilitate ongoing works and after-sales services.
Diagnose and repair equipment failures, order and replace parts when necessary (remote or on site).
Test and verify equipment operation after installation to ensure proper configuration.
Create comprehensive technical installation reports documenting completed work.
Provide records and support to the After-Sales Service team.
