Job summary

Tracerco Limited in Australia seeks a Field Engineer to safely carry out onsite diagnostic services for the Oil, Gas and petrochemical industries. Based in Perth, you may lead or work individually on client locations worldwide, onshore and offshore, reporting to the Engineering Manager APAC.

You will perform diagnostic investigations, maintenance and testing of Tracerco equipment, ensure health and safety compliance, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

HNC/Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering required.
3-5 years field experience.
Radiation Safety Officer appointment required.
Familiar with industrial instruments and computer systems.
Ideally hold Offshore Medical Certificate (BOSIET).

Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostic investigations and services using Tracerco techniques on client processes and equipment.
Liaise with customers and resolve queries within defined timescales.
Perform maintenance and function testing of Tracerco equipment in the field.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
Prepare job work packs, commissioning check sheets and project completion reports.
Lead a team on larger projects and promote safe working practices.
Carry out fault finding and troubleshooting to resolve client queries.
Pack, label, and ship dangerous goods in compliance with legislation.
Maintain the radioactive source database and related documentation.
Perform radiation compliance audits of customer systems.
Provide support to other business units when required.
Must be mobile; 50% time on site including international/offshore locations.
Extended hours/on-call/shift work as required.
Ability to work at height and on vessels.
