Porter Plant in Sydney is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to support customers from SW Sydney to Riverina, including occasional overnight stays. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and service a range of assets with autonomy under a Field Service Coordinator.

• Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled & unscheduled maintenance in a timely and effective manner.
• Perform effective fault diagnosis on a variety of equipment.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ensure workmanship adheres to all compliance and safety regulations.
• Communicate with coordinators and managers regarding work status updates and delays.
• Be experienced in servicing of both passenger and heavy vehicles.
