Job summary

ALS Environmental in Stafford, Queensland, is seeking a Field Sample Technician to join our team and support high-profile clients with practical field sampling experience.

You will travel across SE Queensland visiting client sites, collect diverse samples using specialised techniques, record data for the laboratory, and deliver samples to our Stafford lab while maintaining strict safety and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Environmental Science (or similar) tertiary qualification.
• Field experience is desired but not essential.
• Full, open driver’s license (manual highly regarded).
• An eagerness to learn and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites in a company vehicle and complete sampling.
• Record samples for laboratory visibility.
• Deliver samples to our Stafford laboratory for testing.
• Identify opportunities to expand or improve the client experience.
• Assist in other laboratory sections as required.
