Job summary

Blackwoods is seeking a Sales Representative to manage and grow a portfolio of trade and industrial customers across the local Canberra market. Based out of our Fyshwick branch, you will spend time in the field meeting customers, strengthening relationships and identifying new opportunities while supporting the branch team.

You’ll deliver an exceptional customer experience across in-store and external channels, helping drive sales growth and strengthen customer loyalty.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience in trade/industrial sectors.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proactive in prospecting and account growth.
• CRM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of trade and industrial customers.
• Build strong relationships with tradies, site supervisors and key customer contacts.
• Provide sales and customer service support within the branch when required, assisting store-based team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve sales targets.
• Conduct proactive customer visits and maintain regular account contact.
• Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting and targeted cold calling.
• Develop and implement customer growth plans.
• Track opportunities, activities and customer interactions.
• Provide product and solution recommendations to customers.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Collaborate closely with branch teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
