Job summary

Ampersand Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an External Sales Advisor to convert enquiries into sales of premium window furnishings. You will manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to order placement, providing expert advice on blinds and shutters and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

You’ll conduct consultations, prepare quotes, visit sites, attend trade shows, build relationships with new and existing clients, and collaborate with Marketing and Customer Service to deliver

Qualifications

• Customer-facing sales experience in a consumer-facing environment.
• Experience in home improvement, interiors, or related industries is preferred.
• Ability to conduct consultations and recommend tailored products.
• Proven ability to manage multiple enquiries and opportunities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, online channels and in person.
• Conduct consultations and recommend tailored window furnishing solutions.
• Prepare quotes and convert leads into sales.
• Manage the full sales process including order entry and follow-up.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Conduct site visits and attend client consultations where required.
• Represent the business at trade shows and industry events.
• Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline activity in the CRM.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Service to ensure seamless delivery.
