Job summary

nbn is seeking a Field Safety and Quality Specialist based in the Sydney Metro area. You will conduct front-line safety assurance activities and perform physical quality inspections on workers and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with nbn standards and taking corrective action where needed.

You will cover FTTP, FTTN, FTTB, FTTC, HFC, FW and SAT technologies, and you’ll be provided with a company vehicle, laptop, tools, uniform and phone.

Qualifications

• Experience in Civil or Telecommunications Field Operations.
• Knowledge of copper and fibre installation processes.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with field teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct front-line safety assurance activities and quality inspections on workers and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with nbn standards and rectify any non-compliance.
• Provide input to enhance safe working practices and quality processes.
• Coach and upskill Delivery Partner crews and supervisors.
