Job summary

Transport for NSW seeks a Works Assistant Grade 3 - PQR for Port Macquarie on a 16-month fixed-term basis. The role emphasizes following project plans, maintaining records, quality control, and field coordination. You may take on Road Worker Grade 3 duties as needed.

The position requires a White Card, a current NSW driver license, and strong Excel skills. Flexible, onsite work with potential travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• You are a process focused individual who can handle multiple tasks.
• Strong literacy/numeracy skills and experience with Excel are important.
• Experience in WHS/Quality Systems is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for ensuring project requirements and work plans are followed correctly.
• Maintain accurate records to demonstrate work processes completed and checked.
• Undergo duties associated with a Road Worker Grade 3 position as required.
• Conduct quality checks, audits, inspections and competency assessments.
• Coordinate staff and contractor inductions to support compliance.
