Job summary

4020 Consult in Brisbane is seeking an Operations Manager to lead premium subsurface investigations across South East Queensland, building the operation from the ground up and guiding it toward a General Manager role after year one.

This field-based leadership role offers ownership from day one, with modern equipment, a digital workflow from field capture to client-ready deliverables, and a clear path to growing a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Certified locating capability or in-progress with theory passed.
• Strong GPR and electromagnetic locating capability to AS 5488 levels.
• Proven leadership to set standards, train others and manage stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license, construction white card and clean safety record.

Responsibilities

• Lead premium field delivery and design the operating system for QA, safety and data management.
• Develop QA, safety, reporting and data-management processes for repeatable delivery.
• Oversee asset location reports and GIS data for client-ready outputs.
• Recruit, train and quality-assure field locators while transitioning to leadership.
• Collaborate with leadership on scopes, pricing and client engagements.
